I am Lorenzo Raggio, from Italy, and I have worked in the field of wedding planning on the Riviera Maya (Mexico) for some time now. After quite a number of years of experience as a wedding planner, I decided to create my own company, Pride Maya Weddings. The time had come to add also my personality, my own taste and the values in which I strongly believe to a job that has always been my real passion.
I follow every wedding step by step, just as if it were mine, with enthusiasm, passion and a touch of originality. I think that the combination of my sincere attititude towards my clients, the obsessive attention to details, along with my proverbial Italian passionate temperament is my winning formula indeed. For me Love is a pure and genuine powerful force, with no cultural, religious, racial or sexual barriers. Being able to celebrate love between the two members of a couple is a source of pride, inspiration and happiness for me.
My team of professionals from Pride Maya Weddings and I focus on two fundamental aspects in the couples that we are going to unite in matrimony: do they firmly believe, as we do, that love is a universal feeling regardless of sexual orientation, religion or nationality? Owner/Wedding Planner
Lorenzo founded Pride Maya Weddings in 2017 after years of experience in the industry both in Italy and, most importantly, in Mexico as an employee. As your first point of contact, he will open the doors to the enchanting world of Riviera Maya weddings. With care and passion, he will show you various locations, providing valuable advice on accommodation, local tours, and unique experiences. Lorenzo assists every couple in finding the best vendors tailored to their needs. His strengths lie in his swift responsiveness, Italian flair, and deep passion that leads him to treat each wedding as if it were his own. With a touch of humor, he guides you through every step of this incredible journey.
Gustavo
Accounting/Wedding Coordinator
Gustavo is Lorenzo’s husband, he is mexican and holds a degree in marketing. He manages the company’s accounting and works as a behind-the-scenes coordinator, handling all vendor communications. Whenever you receive a contract or make payments, Gustavo’s watchful eye will be overseeing the process. On the wedding day, he is the first to arrive, ensuring that everything proceeds with perfect timing.
Emily
Operation Manager/Wedding Planner
Emily is the youngest member of the team, she is mexican and is an irreplaceable asset in terms of professionalism, punctuality, and efficiency. As the female perspective in the company, she brings empathy and a keen understanding of your needs. Emily oversees all operations, and once the vendor list is ready, she steps in to help you create the perfect timeline, to-do list, rehearsal dinner/welcome party, and all the final little details that will make your wedding truly epic.
